Phone in another room, no notes, no tabs, clock running. A score earned with Microsoft Learn open in another tab measures your search skills, not your readiness.

Exam-day habits to rehearse now
Pacing
- Budget about two minutes per question. Case studies take longer, so bank time on short items.
- Be at the halfway point by the halfway mark. Check twice, not constantly.
- If a question passes three minutes, answer it, flag it, and move on.
- Finish each case study before leaving it; the real exam may not let you return.
Reading architect questions
- List the constraints first: data residency, cost, time to value, skills on the team, existing licenses.
- Minimize development effort usually points to a prebuilt or low-code option.
- Full control of the model or orchestration usually points to Microsoft Foundry.
- An option that meets the goal but breaks a governance requirement is wrong, no matter how elegant.
- Never leave anything blank. There is no penalty for a wrong answer.
How the score is estimated
Microsoft reports AB-100 results on a 1–1,000 scale and passes at 700. The conversion from raw answers is not published, and questions can be weighted differently, so no practice test can produce your exact score.
This site anchors a curve so that 70% correct lands on 700. Read it as a readiness signal: 780+ ready, 700–779 likely pass with little margin, 640–699 close, and below 640 means the domain breakdown is where to focus.
Each exam has about 17 Plan, 16 Design, and 17 Deploy questions. That is a balanced mix between the current outline (Deploy-heavy) and the upcoming November 16, 2026 outline (Plan-heavy). The results screen shows your per-domain percentage next to the weight for your exam date.
